Here is my project for our red and green challenge:
I decided to use my Imagine to make my project as this is my newest toy and I can't stop playing with it! I used the Snow Angel Imagine cartridge for this card. Some of the details on this card won't convey in the photo, however I will tell you about all the little things I did to make this card come together. I printed the deer and Christmas tree in layers and assembled all the pieces together. I also printed one of the ornaments from the cartridge as well. I then printed a piece of one of the decorative papers from the cartridge. Everything was printed on Bazzill Simply Smooth 12x12 in white. For the card base I cut a piece of the printed paper from the Imagine and and piece of vellum cut to size and layered that on top of the card front. I then took a piece of 1/2" Scor Tape and laided that over where the two papers met. Once that was in place, I removed the covering on the Scor Tape and sprinkled glitter onto it and burnished it with my fingertip. (I often use this technique when I don't feel like messing around with ribbon.) I then attached all my card elements to the front of my card. For my final touches I used icicle stickles on the tree, I used my copic spica markers on the ornaments on the tree and the eye of the deer and the deer's ear, and I used my Gelly Roll Stardust glitter pen to highlight some of the details on the ornament/sentiment. I also used my WRMK chomper to round the corners. This is a great tool and everyone should have one! I hope you enjoyed my quick and easy card. And please don't forget to leave a comment and tell me your favorite Holiday movie for a chance to win the Xyron 150 in Zebra print!

My daughter in law surprised me today and brought my first biological grand baby girl, Jadelyn to visit me! She is so stinking cute and looks like my son. It is all so surreal for me to see new life in my family like this. I also presented Carrie with the paper keepsake paper scrapbook album I made for her and my son with some early photos of pregnancy and birth. Now to do the big scrapbook albums!

I am one lucky Cricut Circle Member, as at CHA Summer 2010, I was gifted an Imagine by Provo Craft. I have had it for about two weeks now and have completed my first layout using my Imagine. My subject was my new grand baby girl, Jadelyn. I think she is so stinking cute and am going to love scrapping all her photos. I have a large stack and I really need to get cracking, as babies grow up so very fast! Trust me, as a Mom I am still in awe that my children are all grown up and gone and just miss them so much!

So during all this craziness, we adopted another cockatiel named Sunset. She is seven and is the sweetest bird. She loves kisses and loves her head and back stroked. She is so beautiful in person and we are falling in love with her already. So is my male cockatiel, Bailey. He has taken to hanging upside down like a bat, to get her attention. I call Sunset "pretty girl" and now Bailey is saying "pretty girl" when I appoach her cage. I think he has got it bad for her!

I had so many of my Cutters Creek customers asked me to do another video on the new Cuttlebug Emboss Plus folders but this time show them in action, so I did! I also gave a couple of handy dandy tips when using these new folders. Now I need to decide on a project to do with these as I am loving these to death! I hope you enjoy my video, as I had a great time making it!

I decided to try out the video camera feature on my iPhone and did a youtube video on the newest Cuttlebug product-the Emboss Plus folders. It was a lot of fun and now my customers from Cutters Creek can get a better idea of this new product too!

I just got off the phone with Paul at Craftwell and there are some very exciting things that have happened to the new machines! The firmware has already been updated with more options, the tray configuration has been changed, the manual paper feed has been changed, the blades and pens have been changed, the LCD screen has been changed, and many more enhancements have been made. These changes were all done according to your wants and desires and also beta tester feedback. There are so many more things that have been done that I just can't say right now, however I will tell you that you will be so glad that Craftwell delayed the release of these machines because your will LOVE all the changes, especially all of you that have placed pre orders already.
