And here is what I came up with:
It is so funny, I have never been much of a sketch person. So when I joined the ScrapMuch? Design Team, I though how hard can this be? I can follow directions, I am a bit anal, and I like to scrapbook. However it became hard for me, at first. My first few sketches, I followed to the letter. I would look at my finished layout and I would think, this is not how I do layouts. Well then enter the "light bulb" moment. A sketch is a guide to help you try different things in shapes and colors. It helps you with placement, reminds you to add a title, and makes you remember to journal. So now all of my completed projects are so me and I am loving the end results!
For this sketch, I turned it upside down! It worked so much better with my photos and elements and I love the end product. My papers are Bazzill, Creative Memories, and Me And My Big Ideas. The circle element was cut with my Cricut Explore, the tag is from Anna Griffins Totally Tags, and the rhinestone flourish is Recollections. My title is chip board letters by The Paper Studio and I used Rangers black diamond Stickles to cover them. I matted my photos using Perfect Layers.
I hope you enjoyed my layout! Please leave me a comment and don't forget to enter your layout using this sketch over at the ScrapMuch? blog.

Thanks for sharing,

I used to feel that sketches were confining and it would take me so long to create "original" layouts that were driven by my paper and photos. Now, I love using sketches (I'm a bit addicted) because they allow me to get right to the fun part, picking out the pretty stuff to tell my story!
Thanks so much for sharing! You've done a fabulous job with this sketch!
