I bought one of these eBosser's and I love it! I did get a black rubber pad with it but there are not any instructions for it...do you know what it is for and how to use it? Anyone?

The black mat is used to emboss dies like Spellbinder dies :)

I also love this machine. Purchased it from HSN. However, I did not follow instructions carefully and my machine is on its way to New York for repair. So, now I really love it because of the way I was treated by customer service. Prompt reply, courteous, and doing the happy dance until machine returns. The impressions are fantastic!

I'm from the UK and have had my ebosser for a few days but already my rubber embossing mat is cut through. There were no instructions to say which side of the rubber mat should face the die. I've been using Spellbinder dies. Any advice please?

I have just had my ebosser for a few days but the rubber mat has already been cut. I did what the instructions said but it didn't say which side of the rubber mat should face the die. I've been using Spellbinder dies mostly. Can you give me any advice pl? Thanks. R

I have the cutting blade of the die face away from the embossing mat to avoid being cut into. HTH!
