Anna Griffin Explosion Box

I have had this Anna Griffin kit for a while and have never put any of it together.  I bought it at QVC, so that tells you how long I have had it!  This was the first project in the included instruction booklet and is now done!  I just need to add photos to it and then it will be totally complete.  I will probably added another photo to this post once the photograph are added.  There are four projects left to do in the kit, so off I go to see what else I can get into!

Elegant Edges........I Love This Cartridge!

I am loving this new cartridge, Elegant Edges, by Provo Craft!  It turned me from wishing I had a ton of Spellbinder dies, to thinking I no longer want them any more........... and spend a small fortune on the dies I so longed for.  Now for the cost of two Spellbinder dies, I have thousands of options!  I have so many projects rolling around in my head!  I love that now I can use some of my "busy" cardstock as a back drop for my project and then add and "Elegant Edge" to my layout to "calm" down my background and pull everything all together.  I am one happy camper right now and this will be one of those cartridges I use over and over just like Storybook, Plantin Schoolbook, & Tags, Bags, Boxes, & More!  Oh!  And isn't my grand baby cute?!?!?

Cutters Creek Branded Flowers Anyone?

I have been scrapping all day.  And in this layout I used some of my favorite products from Cutters Creek!  I am so thrilled to be scrapping 2010 photos as I have been trying to catch up and have been at least three years behind or more until this last year and have been on a serious scrapping campaign to catch up and use those supplies that I just keep buying!  I have other projects done, however will not post those yet until they show up on the Scrappy Frogs Challenge Blog that I now design for.

I used one of my favorites, Cutters Creek Branded Flowers: Gardenia (Color Me White) and spritzed them with Perfect Pearls Mist in Turquoise and then tipped the petals with my copic marker BG05 for added interest.  I colored my journaling box with spica and copic markers and matted my photos with the absolutely gorgeous American Crafts Glitter cardstock.

I hope you enjoy my project, as I am so thrilled to be catching up my scrapping and hope to keep rolling so I can also catch up those additional projects on my plate.

I Love Lori's Garden!!

So I got a new Imagine cartridge today and am loving it!!  Everyone who has an Imagine, I tell them to get Nursey Tails and now I have found an new love............Lori's Garden!  Well some of the ladies in my Cricut Yahoo Group (Cricut Lovers) received their Lori's Garden cartridge before I did and I was so Cricut Green with envy.  Well mine arrived today and I have been cutting away.  Everyone kept saying they wanted to see what I would come up with and the peer pressure was too much.  Egads!  So I took some of the stuff I cut and put this together in about five minutes.

I need more play time to do something better and want to do a scrapbook page.  Everything about this cartridge screams rhinestones and pearls!  And I love my bling, so I am so okay with that.  Well......... tomorrow will be another play day, as there is so much more I want to cut out.  And tonight I did my first full bleed 12 x 12 papers and am LOVING it!
