Flower Soft Globe Project

I have not been posting much lately, as the untimely death of Tigger (my beloved cat) took me by surprise.  Just this week, my mom sent some goodies over from the Amish Market and she had sent some of their wonderful home baked white bread which is just so delish!  I love eating either egg salad or tuna on this bread and since we were just about out of eggs, I decided on tuna.  Little did I know grabbing a can of tuna for lunch would send me in another round of crying and depression over my loss, as Tigger always loved his "fish" and always drank the water I would drain from my can.  (I would also slip him a couple of hunks in there too!)  Whew!  I am feeling a tad more normal now and just know this particular sadness will last me a lifetime.  I just need time to heal, although more than I had ever thought :)
Anyway, back to my project!  I have been crafting since Tigger's death on July 25th, just not posting.  And as one more side note, paper crafting REALLY is cheaper than therapy and takes you away to another world and very happy places.  So I made this snow globe using the Flower Soft Globes and the Aperture Cards & Envelope pack.  The scene is from one of Flower Soft's Topper packages.  I cut all the pieces out and used foam squares to give the picture dimension.  Then I added Polar White Flower Soft on the edges of the church, used my clear Sakura Gelly Roll pen to add shine to the large star above and dotted on the little stars as well.  (This does not convey well in the photo, however in person the shine is awesome!)  Then I added a little spoon of the Polar White Flower Soft, so when you shake the card, it looks like it is snowing.  After putting the globe together with the aperture card (I used Scor Tape), I used some of the Flower Soft Peel Offs to finish off the card and the sentiment, which was also popped up with foam squares.
Everything on this card can be purchased at my store, Cutters Creek.  Please leave me a comment, as I need a bit of cheering on to start loading more of my projects to my blog!

You're right.... crafting is cheaper than therapy - well as long as you don't add shopping to it. Your card is absolutely beautiful! Thank you for sharing.

This is so beautiful. I have to get them someday. If mine comes out even at half as pretty as this did, I'd be happy. You did an awesome job.
