New Cuttlebug Releases-Holiday 2009

More Cuttlebug releases, really??? Here are six more folders that will be released by Provo Craft. The thing I find fascinating is that three of these folders and the border folder are 5X7. What does this mean? You will get full coverage on an A2 card and can make bigger cards?!? I'm just saying......................what do you think????

Father's Day Weekend

This was the first time, since meeting my brothers, that all three of us were in the same place at the same time. This is one of the photos that will get scrapbooked for sure! I may even jump off of some of the pretty paper I have been hording. It was so nice to be with them and their wives and children. They all also got to meet my husband. Moments like this are priceless and create memories of a lifetime.

Catching Up.............

I have been MIA for a few days. I lost phone service Saturday and that has slowed me down! I am trying to catch up with my store and prepare for the best weekend ever. I will finally have both my brothers (that I recently met) in the same place, at the same time. Think of all the photo "ops" and the scrapbooking I will do. In the mean time, I have started coloring stamps again and am starting to think I need copic markers. Really??? OMG! Another scrapbooking and card making venture might be right around the corner................

Honest Scrap Award!!!

This is the second time I have gotten this award, and now I am scared that maybe I need to be even more honest............lol! Thank you Amanda! Amanda at amkscrap gave me this award and I have to say, she is so talented! She also has free cut files for SCAL on her blog, so go take a look as I really don't think you will be disappointed. So moving along, the rules are to state 10 honest things about myself and then pass it on to 7 other bloggers. So here we go!

1. I so love Mexican food, and not the fast food type, and could gorge myself for the rest of my life on it!
2. I really don't like ice cream at all. (I know........you are saying "what?").
3. I wish I had four more children when I was younger and more stupid, however do not want any more now........they are a lot of work!
4. Pizza...........love it! And I have never said I wish I had less cheese..........more please!!!!
5. I eat the same food over & over for weeks and then switch to something else and do the same thing. Right now I am on a hot dog kick and eat one every day.
6. I have a horrible sweet tooth in my older age, and it makes me crazy!
7. I hate housework and because of that I have maid service and I just know they roll their eyes every time they walk into my house...........lol!
8. I love my crafts and if I went blind tomorrow, I would just hate life.
9. My fur babies are one of the biggest loves of my life and I would go hungry to feed them.
10. I do not like my mom, however I love her.

Private Cricut Classes in Maryland!!!

I am an owner of a Cricut yahoo group, Cricut Lovers (there is a link on my blog if you would like to join!), and have been a little surprised to find out how many people watch the demos, infomercials, etc...... buy a Cricut, and have not even taken their machine out of the box! I can't help all my group members, however I can help anyone who lives near me. If you own a Cricut (any Cricut) and want me to teach you, I would love to give you a private class! I will teach you about the care of your machine, cutting, and features on the cartridges you own. I own an online scrapbook store (Cutters Creek) and have owned all three machines at one time (I'm down to just the Expressions & Create now). Yes, there is a fee, however it will depend on the distance I need to travel so, email me at kimberlyjbush@gmail.com and we can figure out times and cost. I will even bring some cartridges you may not own so you can play! We will have a lot of fun and by the time I leave, you will be so in love with your bug, you will cut, cut, cut, cut...... I live in the Washington, DC Metropolitan area, so email me if you are serious about learning about your machine.

Cuttlebug Lace Tree by Provo Craft

From what I hear, last years Provo Craft release of Lace Tree is THE hottest Cuttlebug A2 folders out there and is a must have. This item has become very limited and even Provo Craft is saying it may be discontinued. I sell a lot of Swiss Dots A2 folders, however the inquires on this folder have way surpassed Swiss Dots. I was able to lay hands on a small quantity of these, so RUN do not walk to cutterscreek.com. I have customers buying these five at a time and am running out, yet again. And the holiday cards I have seen made with this folder are gorgeous!

I love you Daddy.........................

I made this card, just because I love my Dad and will mail it off tomorrow. Sometimes your Dad needs to know you love him, and just not on Father's Day. If you would like to read about my Dad, click HERE, my dad is Sandy Scott, please scroll down. I used a Peachy Keen stamp, colored it with my Bic Mark it Up pens, used papers I got from one of my favorite Internet stores (Flowers to Flourishes-Kelly is the bomb!), my new corner chomper by the makers of the Crop A Dile (you can buy that at my MOST favorite online store, Cutters Creek), and ribbon.

Relay for Life............I am a survivor

Well, my husband is not the best photographer however he was there to cheer me on and take pics. It was cold and rainy this year. It is usually hot & humid. This is my fourth walk and also coinsides with my fourth year as a breast cancer survivor. When it became time to walk, I took my jacket off so I could sport my survivor t-shirt proudly and I would have done the same thing if it were 30 degrees below freezing as I have earned this walk and I was proud to do this. All those people clapping, work hard for cures and they should be so proud of what they have done for us, all of us. How wonderful of them to do this and raise money for the cure. So if I have not said it once, I have said it hundreds of times: Ladies get the girls checked out! The key is early detection to being a survivor.............
I am a survivor............I am woman.................HEAR ME ROAR!!!

Happy Birthday Joel! I love you!

I will add a photo of the birthday card I made for my husband tomorrow, however before the day is done I wanted to add to my blog, a shout out to the man who supports and loves me through my crazy scrapbook addiction. Today is his birthday and he turned 42 and is a "wee bit" younger than I am. I don't always tell him that I appreciate his support of me, no matter what it is. When I told him I wanted to own a scrapbook store, he was behind me 110% and believed in me even when I started second guessing myself. He is my rock, he is my love, & he is the man I so want to grow old with!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, HONEY! I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART!
