Weddings & Family...............Meeting my brother Chris

Many of you know that my father came back into my life Memorial Day weekend this year, after many years of no communication. I met my brother Evan, for the first time this summer. My daughter's wedding has brought my other brother Chris, to me. How exciting meeting him today for the first time! I am sad that we have missed so many years out of each others lives, however I am thrilled to have them in my life now and hope they will always be with me. I love both of my brothers with all my heart and hope that our futures will intertwine over and over. I gained a sister in law and a niece too! I have never had a sister and now I am blessed with two. I loved meeting my other sister in law this summer and two little nephews. It is strange to me that their children are so small and mine are all grown up, but am thrilled that although they will not be able to watch my children grow up, I can watch theirs. This is truly an exciting time in my life!

I too love my new sister - a very kindred spirit to me. Meeting you for the fist time tonight solidified that feeling. I thought there would be tears or something with all my excitement, but none came. As I was sitting and listening to all the chit chat and wondering why it wasn't nearly as emotional as I thought it would be, I realized it was because you were right where you were always supposed to be. It felt like you had always been with us. There's so much life left for us to share. We can't wait to start to make new memories by attending our niece's wedding!!

WOW this is the most exciting thing in life meeting new family and old. I lost my sis when I was 12 and she was 18 and I tell ya there is nothing better than having a sister, oh I have brother although he is 10 yrs older than me and there quite a gap between us in many ways. I am sooooooooooo happy for all of you for this wonderful event, Kim that camara better be snapping because we all want to see everything that we can possibly see.
